I found a GREAT book called "The Tudor Chronicles" by Susan Doran. Especially great was the fact it was on the 'bargain shelf' at our local bookstore.

It runs from the beginnings for Henry VII to the endings of Elizabeth I. Excellent script and marvelous pictures-some never seen before. The book really compiles the life of the Tudors in an easy fashion and is quite the page-turner. Heavy though...I think I've permanent dents in my thighs!

My problem is that I'm running out of shelf space again already, even after cleaning out some when I moved last year!

It looks like a nice book to have on a shelf, but you get to a point (when you're an avid researcher like me and other Tudor buffs) where books like this just say the same old stuff you already know.

I put it on order anyway! :-) It's pretty.
