His younger sister Mary married Charles Brandon who was her 2nd husband her 1st was the King of France NOT Portugal. There must be so many people who watch a programme like the Tudors & think it must be factual. Why though? I would have thought that there were plenty of interesting facts for a writer without making them up. Henry VIII was not a sexy, gorgeous monarch and was slim for a very short period in his life. He was certainly not some easy going loveable guy. When I saw the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin being used as location for the Ducal Palace in Urbino, I knew I was in for something dreadful. I was right.<br/><br/>This bits where Wolsey and the French ambassador discuss an Anglo-French treaty are hilarious. Phrases like "collective security" and "pan-European institutions" !!!<br/><br/>Whoever scripted this has no sense of history. I have just seen episode 1.
